These are pictures of the mannequin I made to display my Armour F/X Stormtrooper armour.  It is made if 1"X2" pine boards cut to size and held together with 1/4" bolts and lock washers.  The hands are made of flexible plastic tubing (from a Dirt Devil accessory kit) that has lengths of coat hanger wire embedded in it with hot glue.  This allows the fingers to be bent and hold any desired position.  The finger assemblies were stapled to a wooden palm piece and attached in the proper pose.  The head is a foam ball from a craft store. The whole wooden skeleton was covered with cotton quilt batting to give it shape and bulk.  I used duct tape to cover the batting and keep it from losing its shape.  It took a little  experimenting to get it to stand up on its own, with the blaster helping to balance the weight out.  The shoulder and hip joints are hinged to swing in and out to allow for a more natural pose.  I based the pose of the mannequin on my Screamin' Stormtrooper model, and it turned out looking pretty good.  Below are some pictures of the finished mannequin wearing the Armour F/X armour.
